The Vivacious Dance Crew is a club that I have been in since my first year in high school. We learn and create mainly hip-hop dance, it often includes many other genres such as: soca, b-boy, pop and so on. Ever since 2013, it has been a really successful club and has placed every year since then! Our main competitions are Notre Dame Dance Off, and York Region Step Out, which both occur in April and May respectively.

2015 - 2nd Place Notre Dame; 1st Place York Region

2016 - 3rd Place Notre Dame; 1st Place York Region

2017 - 1st Place Notre Dame; 2nd Place York Region

2018 - TBD

It is by far the biggest part of my high school life and I would not replace it for anything. It taught me dedication, teamwork, friendship, hardship, pain, frustration, and even how to dance. It has inspired me to find passion in something that I would have never done otherwise.
